When my graphic designer approached me to offer shirts for her cousin's son, in the Autism Speaks walk in Arizona, there was no hesitation. We had to do it. Did you know that Autism now affects 1 in 68 children and 1 in 42 boys? The costs of having an autistic child can be very high for a family in fact, Autism costs a family $60,000 a year on average.
There was no question that making these fun shirts would make it fun for everyone involved in the Autism Speaks Walk. Bling Chicks can offer many different shirt options (vs the standard t-shirt.) We can also offer full color printing at reasonable prices.
Our graphic designer Elizabeth Ink donated her time, and Bling Chicks did the shirts at cost for Team Blain. We hope that they have a very successful walk this year, and Mr. Blain knows how much everyone is cheering him on. We can't think of a better cause than to do things that help kids everywhere.
